Minions Thrullg…

I’m not sure how much I will actually use this model outside of Bloody Barnabas since he breaks Maelok’s tier list. I wanted to try a different style of drybrushing to mimic blending without having to paint 10 coats progressively. The wash after the drybrushing helped everything come together. I’m really happy how the blending turned out for just drybrushing. I think I pulled it off 🙂

  1. White P3 Primer
  2. Base coat colors using Vallejo Game Colors
  3. 2 Phase Drybrushing – First doing the light color & then coming back the opposite direction using the darker color to “tidy up” and layer it a bit giving it a truly blended feeling
  4. Used Citadel Badab Black wash all over the miniature
  5. Bases are comprised of a mix of Gale Force Nine medium & fine basing grit, Skullcrafts leaves, & Army Painter Battlefield Swamp Tufts
  6. Rust-Oleum Clear Gloss then Army Painter Anti-Shine Matte Varnish over the whole model
  7. Vallejo Gloss Varnish only on his mouth & inner tentacles to give that wet/moist feel
