INFINITY Yu Jing Remote Yaoxie Lu Duan…

My last Yaoxie remote and I’m all done now. This baby also has a nice heavy flamethrower which is nice for ARO purposes if you’re worried about hitting hard targets. This is the remote I use the most since he has a diverse set of weapons paired with the Mk12 which is a weaker HMG.

WARMACHINE Mercenaries Exulon Thexus…

The moment I saw this model I fell in love with it. It’s so different from the usual aesthetics that I knew I wanted to paint it the moment I saw him. I wanted to also make him more game friendly so I decided to bend and and place his extra “Doc Ock” arms in such a way so I could still place models next to him. He was great to paint up and enjoyed figuring out how to break up the metallics to keep it interesting between the silver and brass.

mercenaries_cephalyx_exulon_thexusNo I don’t have REACH!

INFINITY Yu Jing Tokusetsu…

This model is great since he is diverse and can be used in a Engineer or Doctor role. I always use him and tend to lean towards the Engineer version since I run so many Remotes. He was pretty fun to paint and was done in a short session. Which I love being a lazy painter who has a tendency to finish models in one sitting.

yu_jing_tokusetsuI fix robots or people!

INFINITY Yu Jing Remote Yaoxie Rui Shi…

For my other set of remotes from the Yaoxie types I decided to try a thinned down wash to give it a clean look. They came out pretty good for no touch ups and opted to keep a minimal palette only using four colors. With proper color separation, minimal palettes will tend to look better and more uniformed. Less is more.

WARMACHINE Mercenaries Cephalyx Subduer Monstrosity…

My last monstrosity for now is finally done! I always thought this guy was undervalued by most players since he actually has a super long threat range for what seems like a very short ranged weapon. Of course his synergy reaches maximum potential with Exeulon Thexus due to his FEAT and Telekinesis.

mercenaries_cephalyx_monstrosity_subduerGotta net them all!

  1. Touch Tone Automotive Flat Grey Primer
  2. Base coat colors using Vallejo Game Colors & Vallejo Model Air Metallics

  6. I then varnished only with Testors Dullcote since it’s a plastic model

WARMACHINE Mercenaries Thrall Warrior…

This little solo is usually created from Alexia which I hope to get the motivation to paint one day. He was super quick to paint since he has so much armor plating. Lazy painters rejoice!

INFINITY Yu Jing Remote Husong Yaokong…

My experimenting with painting continues on my Infinity miniatures. For this remote I decided to try heavy battle damage to see how it would look. I think I probably overdid it, but alas it’s all apart of trying new things. I usually make it much more minimal but decided to go heavy for shits and giggles.
